Wild Mustard Bath

Love, love, love this stuff! A great way to sweat out a cold or fever.
A hot mustard bath is a traditional remedy for colds and poor circulation. It is believed that, by stimulating the skin, mustard oils draw blood to surface capillaries, relieving inflammation in the surrounding tissue. Used as standard medical practice until the first part of the 20th century it continues to be used in complementary and alternative medicine. The ancient Greeks & Romans, Europeans (Victorians used a mustard bath when ill regularly), Native Americans, and the Ayurvedic tradition of India have all used mustard in this way. * I have sensitive skin. I was concerned the first time I tried it that the mustard might burn or irritate my skin ~ I haven't had any issues."
